Picked up an eBay police siren to replace my stock horn. It has 5 different tones but I only wanted the air horn sound so I glued that button down and hid the controller. I cut the stock horn wires and plugged them straight into the siren so when I hit the horn it powers the siren and since the air horn button is already pushed in it makes the sound. The only problem is there's about a one second delay for it to sound. Any ideas how to fix this?

Just press the button one second before you want the horn to sound.

Simples!! :sailor:

Preferentially you would have the siren powered by a supply that operates when the ignition is on so that any electronic start up operations of the siren are already completed.
Then you would just operate the button you have glued down by connecting the horn button switch across that switch without the power supply.
