Hi all some advice will be Much appreciated please when filling out a eicr the primary supply conductor would that be the main supply cable coming in to the building or would it be the submain of the board under test in a commercial/industrial installation as going through others eicr and speaking with other engineers I'm getting different information I thought it's best to ask on here as I believe theres many bright sparks on this forum. Some say it is the main supply from dno some say it's the supply to the board you working on eg landlords ccu.

I would say primary means the supply cable to the premises, generally small scale installations only have one.

Thanks for the feed back guys Ive always put down the meter tails as from my understanding is that bs7671 is from the consumers side eg out going tails from meter to ccu so that's what I note down. Been going through loads of eicr I can see every one has a different view of the meaning so who's right and who's wrong lol. Ive seen from 6mm to 10mm to 16 25 up to 240mm all three phase incoming
