i do commercial appliance repairs in the workshop, as there is generally no 13amp plug tops on the appliances, i have seen flex with a plug top on one side with clips on the other side, which enables you to swap 1 appliance to the other without messing about, i currently use fle with choc blocks.

try to get a safeblock its a lot safer to use than connector block
