Hi and welcome to the forum:D.What type of sparking do you want to do mate, domestic, commercial or industrial. With your back ground, the transition shouldn't be that hard.Regarding funding you may struggle, tried myself and had to borrow money from family. What courses did you want to do.

Hi
if you find my 2 previous threads you will see my background? i am currently doing the Access2Trade course and think its fantastic, but i come from a retail sales background and at 46 i am learning from scratch.
If you read threads you may well find courses that will give you the qualifictions you require to go with your experiance with out the cost ellements.
regarding funding to pay for the course because its a private company you will struggle you need to talk with your local collage who may run goverment funded courses, best of luck

what about the 2330 course, a 3 year course that costs about ÂŁ250 per year, a lot cheaper than ÂŁ5500. Then you could go on to do the 2391 course a further year around the same price

I have enroled on Electrical Installation C&G 2330. Because I do not posess a Level 2 in anything else the government will pay for it!:)
When I decide to do Level 3 I will have to pay myself at about ÂŁ700. So not that expensive really!
