Can anyone recommend a digital timer to replace a light switch for a outdoor shop sign. There is L+N+E at the switch and it would be easy to fit a timer directly on the back box. BQ do one, but it does not look too clever.
If not I will replace back box and switch. Most of the timers seem to be for Immersion heaters or C.heating.
Thanks for this guys if you can help, I have just come back into the trade being out since the early 90's. Got my 17th.edit. but still got to get my head around all the new products.

check the loading and type of lamp of the sign I had a pub sign with low energy lamps killed two timers before I realised and had to fit a contactor so digital not allways the way to go with modern lights

So you need basic info like power that the sign needs it could be 200 m long and take 3kw for all we know

No need to be sarcastic Mayfair. I asked about timers, the load will be sorted when I have all the details when the sign is fitted this weekend. Still need a timer though.
