Hi, I've just turned 16 and start new colledge in september i was also looking forvan aprenticeship. A person for access to trade phoned me and asked me a few questions and that they will phone me back in a couple of days and tell me if I have been accepted. The course will cost ÂŁ5000 odd pound and i would have to do 1 hour revision at home a day with the resources they give me and after 2-3 months I will begin work as a sparkys mate as he said and earn money (about 16,000) is it worth or should i just get an apprenticeship and an anyone tell me some more information on it please.

im not an electricain YET but soon will be . im giving you advice as my opion. i think your best bet is to get an apprentice or apply for a college course then you dont need to spend money on a course. you have got alot of oppertunities as you are young. the companies that you have to pay for are for people like me who want a career change and have to pay.

hope this helps a bit.
