Okay just qualified as level 2 an already come across a problem lol . When changing a light fitting here's the problem already installed is a triple spot lamp in a bedroom with metal plate which is earthed of course. The problem is it wants it changing with a plastic triple spot which doesn't need earthing so what is the best course of action to take with cpc, in instructions it say connection cpc's together to keep continuity which I get but there only one cpc help!!!!!!

What other cables do you have there? Loop in/out and Sw? or just the Sw. wire, you can only do what you can do remove the CPCs that are connected and connector block them. :)

That should then just be the switch wire, as m4tty says just stick it in a connector block.

The other CPCs by the sounds of it will be at the switch.
