can anybody help , what part of the Electrician course gives you the qualifications to sign off work / ceritify work - is it the 2391?

You would need to be a member of one of the part p scams in order to self certify your own work.

Most of them will take anyone regardless of quals, but insist you gain them with 12 months of registering.

none, you need to be a member of a scheme provider or pay labc (council) to do it

So it doesnt matter what form of Elec course im going to take, its all about the memebership thereafter.

i was just worried the scheme i choose, after 2 years of initial training - then i wouldnt be able to certify my own work

Somebody last week told me I needed the 2391 and tried telling me I had to pay £2500 to learn this
