Recently, i'm doing research based on power distribution network reconfiguration for loss reduction using ACS, and my reference paper is the one from the link that i post. There are something about Table 1: Network Data that i don't understand. In the table, from third column to seventh column, what are those thing? What is V p.u , R p.u , X p.u , P MW , and Q MVAR ? Wha are they stand for ?

Distribution Network Reconfiguration For Loss Reduction Using Ant Colony System Algorithm

Please help me....

Actually i get the PDF from IEEE website, but i cant post the PDF here so i use the link. I would like to post the print screen (which dont have URL) here, but is there a way to do so without using URL ?

Hello Lee,
I could not read the text in the link you posted, but this is about power factor correction and the use of the Ant Colony anology algorithims to optimise power factor in large distribution networks, I think.
V voltage
R resistance
X reactance
P.u. Per unit
P Power MW MegaWatts
Q Reactive Power Mvar Mega volt amperes or "Mvars"
Hope that helped, good luck with your studies.
