Right sockets and lights are needed in a shed. The nearest ccu is the garage which is fed in 10mm twin and earth on a 40. Can I come off that board to fit a few sockets and switches or would I have to come off the main board ? And if so what cable would you recommend I use ? Regards

How is the 10mm T&E installed? and regarding the other part of your question you need some proper advice from an electrician who can confirm that what you have at the moment is suitable and safe to be extended into the shed. I dont want to put you down or have a go, but this can and will turn nasty if its not done properly. It needs seeing, this isnt the sort of job that can be specced up in a forum.

Cheers...........Howard

you can come off the garage CU, subject to conditions, mostly as Howard has just explained. without seeing the current set-up, it's difficult to comment further.

Seen this where T&E has been fixed with a flat bend of too tight a radius.
