This may seem like a stupid question, I am looking to start up on my own and was wondering how you go about getting test sheets and work signed off with out becoming a member of the nic or select if this is possible.

i am not entirely sure about things either. I think building control can vary from person to person

thanks for the replies, Do u need to join the niceic or select when u have your own company and also any other tips and advice, iknow about insurance and i plan to do domestic stuff

you only have to join a scam if the local building control want work notifying.
