all politicians are only out for themselves, however IMO the tories are the worse of the lot of them, if the cabinet members are not being caught running around in stockings and suspenders they are usually banging anything that moves or stealing money from the tax payer, they tax anything that moves and give rebates to millionaires, parasites the lot of them.

As far as I'm concerned the political "elite" of ALL parties are career politicians and have no idea how the vast majority of us live/exist.

If I had my way, I'd kick out all MP's who haven't got 20 years work experience in the private sector!

For the benefit of the younger members on the forum, these were articles "normally" worn by women, specifically in the 50's and 60's hence MDJ's reference to them from probably his courting days!.

Nowadays the equivalent is the hold-up stocking I'm led to believe .....
