Here goes dont know if Ill manage to describe this one I found today Ill try n post picture later
Arrives on site have a general swatch round looks in no bad nick .Nice new tails Old M.G db no chart but pen on the lable so a guide
Opened up the DB and the dodo appeared
Old M.G. dbs dont have sliders like the new ones do but they have removable( fittable) legs for connecting MCBs to at first I thought it was some insulation then looked closer with a torch and couldnt beleive what I saw
From one live side of MCB where the Leg fitted into another MCB live side with no leg fitted Upon closer inspection and turning off MCBs it turns out that 1mcb does main lighting and the one fed from the live side does the ME lighting in that area It took me a while to get my head round WTF and WhoTF would leave a job like this
To Sort this out will mean a near full make over of the Db as the 2 MCBs are in different phase slots I can only assume this is original but GOD knows
Same DB I have had to LIM a lot of MCBs as the size,type,Karatings are all worn off or have sticky on them pulling the ink off
