HETAS / MCS Biomass

Gor MCS audit for biomass in the morning (ELECSA). Will share feedback if people want it?
We will get at least one NC as we haven't notified as we don't have comissioning certificates as HETAS haven't sent them despite 10 calls since before christmas and payment 10 days ago!
Have installed 2 Eco Angus log batch boilers and got stoves with back boilers to do as well.

ditto. I've done the course, but still trying to get my head around the actual market really. I was astounded by the first quote I got for a pellet boiler.

we are thinking of doing the Hetas course for dry solid fuels (log burners) not seen much demand really at present even though its something id like in my house.

Not much to report. Nice guy (used to be a renewable installer before it got big) and most of the time was geek chat and waiting for his computer. Comissioning certificate from HETAS arrived in the post during audit so we completed it during the survey! 90% paper based and he was happy with the heat calc I did using excel.
No hard or unexpected questions but think my paperwork answered most things he wanted to see; heat calc, survey form, comissioin certificate, o&m etc (has taken most of this week to write templates).
Think assesor was easy on us as he guaged we were honest competent people who cared about our work and reputation of the industry. He didn't even ask to see HETAS certificate!
Only NC was as we have no timer controls on heat / hot water (we currently switch on / off heating and hot water as required as our MD is building something custom using Rasberry PI which will also record data but I think it will take months so we will have to wack up a basic controller in the meantime). Happy to answer specific questions if you have any.
