hi to you all. ive been working as a telecoms engineer for the past couple of years and have just been laid off again and im looking into getting into intruder alarms and cctv ect and this site seems to be the place to be so here i am.

Just start it in the general electrical forum, it will get the most views there and is the most appropriate place (apart from the alarms/ CCTV area)
