Hi mates,
I'm trying to find how can I work as electrical designer in UK.That's my favourite "area" of work, and I have sympathies to UK.I was twice there.I'm graduated Master of electrical engineering in Bulgaria in Technical University of Sofia.I've got more than 2 years experience and till last month I was worked for small firm, to design electrical installations for hotels, spa-centers, small guest houses, big hotels, fabrics.I have been designed also fire alarm systems, emergency lighting.I use Auto Cad 2002-2010 electrical, Dialux and others.I'm willing to be part of small or big team to develop my skills.So let's face it - What kind of documents I'm need to working in UK, please tell me everything.What certificates, what kind of courses, where can I find info about the different skills test.At the first time I thing to send my diploma to NARIC, after that - booking for CSCS test.I think to be registered as self employed.For any advices I'll be very thankful.I'm realized that its will be taken a lot of time but that's my dream.Maybe for some of you is funny, but for me is like a dream - to work in UK like electrical designer.Cheers!!!

I'm just a little bit confused.I can not decide which certificate I have to pusses.Your forum is fully with information and I was read about the 2330 level2, 2330 level3.So....Do I have to take them first before I apply for 17th edition exam?Or I can apply without 2330 levels 2&3?Is the 17th edition the same thing with 2382?If its not- what of each other of them has more prestige, for employers?Or maybe I don't need at all of this courses and certificates, if I want to work as electrical designer just to start in different direction-HNC in Building Services Engineering (as Lenny says-Thanks for advice Lenny again!!!)
I'm preliminary excuse if my questions are stupid.Thanks for advices in advance!
