Hi Everyone

I'm new to the forum.
I am hoping to enrol part time on the 2330 level 2 at my local college and as a mature student will be sitting an entrance exam, english and maths. Maths is not a strong point, and I was wondering what sort of questions to expect? Has anyone sat one of these tests who can give me an idea of what I'll be looking toward revising?

Maths is a big part of being a spark, theres lots of different formulae and calculations etc to learn.

If I get through the entrance test I am hoping to resit gcse maths, but in the meantime between now and then I was wondering what to concentrate on for the entrance test. I have a week to brush up, so was hoping to figure out what best to concentrate on.

welcome along, for the entrance test just concentrate on the basics multiplication division etc. if you have a reasonable grasp of maths the entrance test should be fine. as for re taking the gcse maths have a word with the college as some will let you have support classes on your course. good luck with it
