Discuss Hi everyone in the The Welcome Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Hi everyone, hope the festive break is going well. Been a member of the Electricians Forum for 212 day(s) now but haven't posted anything yet. I've had a warning that you delete zero-posters from time to time. Shame because although I haven't posted anything as yet, I do find information on this site very useful from time to time. In actual fact I'm on here now looking for a template of "Observations and recommendations for actions to be taken" as I am doing a EICR on a factory over the shut down period & there are some horrendously dangerous examples of electrical work and not entirely sure how to word them.
All the very Best

Hi, Ago4Ago

Hello and welcome, this is actually the reason I just popped up and said hello too, As you say lots of useful information on here and it would be such a shame to miss out just because we don't particularly have anything to shout about !

Hi powersurge, I dare say there is quite a lot in the same boat. but anyway, maybe if we have a quick chat about not a lot then we might be reprieved??

I've been in the game since leaving school, now 46. had 12 years out. Took a different avenue; bought a restaurant. Now back in the Industry. taken the 17th exam and the 2391. So feel I'm pretty much back up to speed. (Never completely gave it up really).

Iv'e always been just outside of it, always dome my own electrical and worked alongside a pro spark for a couple of years whilst volunteering at a railway centre. Real day job is Mechanical design and had worked in one place for about 18 years unitl redundancy. (that was 4 years ago) have been somewhere else for 3 years and its much more electrical there.

Hello all, Like Ago4Ago, it looks like I need a few posts to save my subscription.
I am in Australia and have been in the electrical game since the late 70s.
Hope you all had a merry Christams and all the best for the New Year.

So basically you're saying that all the people that post regulary, just do it for the sake of getting their post count / like count / thanks count up? And are just general gob sh***s, is this what you're actually trying to get at? ............

because you're correct

:welcome: to the forum buddy. I was a member a few years ago aswell but forgot/lost my account password and tottaly forgot my username, so im in the same boat really - i've only recently re-registered but have been looking at this website for a fair few years now, and it does give lots of usefull pointers doesn't it.

welcome along to the forum anyway, you should start chatting general rubbish like the most of us do everyday :)

Happy New Year.
