Well after joining the forum a couple months I've finally the time to introduce myself.
I have been in the electrical industry 25 years, since leaving school in 1987, and got into the industry via the YTS route.
I only completed the first part of the 2360 qual, and regretted it immensely.
I did pass the 16th edition in 1999, and was i lucky enough to know the right people, and albeit not qualified, an able and well trained electrical installer.
My children have grown up somewhat, so decided to put myself back through college in the evenings.
The first two years were the 2330, the qual changed at the start of my level 3, so I have just completed the 2365 level 3 diploma qual.
I also completed the initial verification 2392 qual, as it was offered at a discounted price whilst I was at college.
I am currently in the fire protection industry and have been for about 8 years now, but I am looking to get back into the electrical installer sector now I am qualified at an improver level, and hopefully get the chance to go on and achieve my NVQ, and complete the AM2.
I'll take a breath now haha and I look forward to learning more of you guys and gals, and hopefully I'll have some knowledge to share with you too.
