Hi ! my name is John White , please be gentle, I am a newbie not only to this sight but also to this Industry. I live in Leigh nr Wigan / Bolton and work as a Mobile Dj however I am just starting a new business In - Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment, but prefer PAT Testing for short. However things have been put on hold due to a recent slip rupturing my quad muscles, but after seeing this forum I was very interested in what people had to say on a variety of issues so here I am willing to listen and learn from you all.

Yes have read a lot about the sticker brigade , but a lot of other guys do seem to be getting a lot of work who charge a fair price.

One reason I decided to go into this was as a Mobile Dj I struggled to find anyone who would test my equipment because at the time I only had about 36 /38 items to test. It took an age to find a company and when I did it cost £95 or there abouts I think for the pleasure. So after some time decided to have a go myself. Have already a load of Dj contacts and even though I probably wont be able to start trading properly until Feb /March 2011 have already had some enquiries for quotes including a school / sixth form campus for over 4,000 items to be tested which I have had to turn down.

Anyway thanks everyone for a warm welcome, some of the Dj forums are not so friendly.
