Hi there,
I am a new member, just signed myself up to 2365 C&G L2 Electrical installation, at a local college evening classes.
I've never really worked in the construction trade, although I do hold a L2 C&G in both P&D & Brickwork which I gained in my late teenage years. Following, I persued a career in health and social care, ended up managing a day service for people with Learning disabilities and later completed a DipHe at BCU to become a registered nurse in psychiatry.
I've enjoyed H&S, although lately have become disheartened by the NHS's lack of staff and sheer amount of responsibility. During my teens I was interested in both electronics and computers, building my own computers as side projects, by passing Sky into my bedroom as a 10 year old. My mom went mad when she found the holes I had drilled in her walls .
So I fancy a change and think electrical work is the way forward, I am specifically interested in domestic work and think this suites me great.
This is a hello. I am glad I found this forum seems a useful resource and after reading various useful topics thought I should join the community.
David.
