Hi

I have my 2391 C & G exam coming up I am a bit unsure about two things.

How do we identify which circuit breaker is for which circuit in the installation? Is it by continuity test? how?

Also form which side of the consumer unit (Left or right side) do we start with circuit number one?

Many thanks.

I agree with topquark but I must say that these are very strange questions for any electrician, never mind one about to sit the 2391-10, are you sure you're ready for this exam?

Nazoom, You are getting too hung about this test. It will all become apparent and obvious to you on the day, so stop sweating.

Cheers..........Howard

Give him a chance lads. When i did the 2391 after nearly 30 years experience, Part P registered etc etc, and a lot of current testing experience (I did 2 PIR's) the day before my practical, I froze and it took me 20 minutes to get into the swing of it. So lets not be kicking those who are sweating. We know how difficult the 2391 is even with a lot of experience, so give him some support.

Cheers.........Howard

That's a fair point and I certainly wasn't 'having a go' I was asking if he was ready for the exam.

Apologies nazoom, no offence meant.

IQ, I didnt for a minute think you were having a go. I read enough of your posts not to question your integrity or opinions, but sometimes we can come across and give the wrong impression, and sadly that includes myself.

I dont think the OP will be offended.

Cheers...Howard
