HI my names gareth im new to this site im from leicestershire have done my part p 17th edition and my 2392 fundamental inspection and testing and trying to get a start in the electrical profession and it is impossible at the moment due to recession.All i seem to hear all the time is what experience do you have,how am i suppose to gain experience when cant even get a start.

all i can suggest is ring round everywhere you can think of. offer to work for low wages on a 3 month trial. if you are signed on the rock and roll, there are incentives for employers to take you on.

Yeah i'd agree, email or call around some companies offering to help out for free to gain some experience. I must get at least one call a week at the moment from people in your situation Keep at it, your get there eventually.

Can I enquire though....what did you do to have "done your part P"...?............this comes up on here a lot and always leaves me baffled.
