High Beams

there is a difference in the brightness of my high beams between when I turn them on for constant (push the column arm) they are less bright compared to when I pull them into the temporary position... (2000 f250 power stroke)... any ideas? just wondering. thanks.

When you switch your high beams on, the relay switches off your dipped beams.

When you flash your high beams it leaves your dipped beams on.

Thats why a flash is brighter than switching the high beams on.
