Hilti roof monts

Just wondered if anyone has used Hilti roof mounting kit, I imagine Hilti to be quality kit but is it? Anyone used it, is it better than Schucco? Many thanks

Unirac are part of the Hilti Group, there are plenty of folks using Unirac.

Looking at the brochures in detail, it looks well thought through, with reasonable instructions.

What it allows is for an installation team to carry a 'standard van load' and if the brand builds its presence, allows Joe Installer to nip in to his local Hilti stockist and get extra bits, that's the advantage of the Hilti distribution network. That way the larger companies with sales teams don't need to consider the individual customer, and can just turn up with a standard stocked van of hooks, rails, joiners, clamps etc.

It should help drive down the costs of mounting systems.

We use the Hilti mounting system and found it to be of excellent quality and quick to install. You get free next day delivery if ordered from the website. They also design the mounting system free of charge with a full breakdown of required parts. Having quickly compared Hilti prices to the Schuco mounting system I reckon we pay slightly less, especially when you factor in the free delivery.
The Hilti solar account manager is incredibly helpful, always answers the phone and occasionally comes out to see us on site. They also do a decent looking flat roof mounting system, we have not used this yet so can't comment on ease of installation.

Just started using Hilti today, seems good. All went well and was as quick as any other system to install.
