Anybody else used this for outside lights? Someone recommended I use this instead of swa to jointbox then flex into lights as it will look better and obviously not take as much time as i won't have to gland cable. Never used it myself so was just wondering what peoples thoughts on it were?

It is really good only problem you can't bury it without additional mechanical protection. Making it off is a doddle just like FP200 score it then bend and break the outer sheath. In cold weather it's a bugger:)

Cool. I think I'll go for this instead of the swa then as it ain't gonna be buried anyway it's gonna be clipped to wall of house.

You may want to make it 3 core and earth, then you can give the customer flexibility with 2 switch lines so you can have two different sets of lights etc. The wholesalers will probably take a couple of days to get it in for you, and they will probably refer to it as NYY-J cable instead of Hi Tuff or they will sell you Hi Tuff at exorbitant rates because it's a named brand so best to go for NYY-J. Clips wise tela cleats will probably be the only ones that go down that small, They do sell large diameter round clips for use with NYY-J 10-14mm for 3 core and earth I think I used.
