Hive on a y plan

Hi, my knowledge on system boiler wiring is fairly limited and I have a job where I need to install a new hive 2 chan prog. The plumber removed the old stat and programmer and wiring already. I'm just trying to make sure I know exactly what I'm doing before I arrive. The confusing bit is that there's not separate room stat to programmer. The hive controller is a wireless programmer and stat. Any pointers would be a great help.

Best advice would be to call an electrician, domestic heating controls are the most basic of control systems and any competant electrician should have this done in double quick time.

Possibly no need for room stat if rad valves sat fitted. A 3 core required from cylinder stat though (assuming one fitted)

Whether it needs a roomstat or not its going to have to have one now isn't it since they are built in to the hive type systems!

I was under the impression that ONLY BG staff are allowed to install Hive systems.

Simple......didnt notice the hive in the OP thread. i took it as just a normal cen htg post. speed reading doesn't always pay off does it!
