I've posted a few training related posts in the main forum recently and did this one here coz I didn't want to clog it up.
I've been thinking of doing a HNC but when researching it I can only find courses which relate more to the electronics side and can't seem to find any that focus mainly on the electrical aspect of the course. The only reason I want to do this is simply to add another string to my bow (or whatever the saying is) and it may come in handy in years to come.
What are peoples thoughts from the above?

Why not study a HNC in Building Services (electrical Bias)?

I never thought about that. Thanks I'll look into it

I did foundation degree equivalent of HNC and HND combined and I would not have the job I have now without it,
It was a huge pain after if finished my apprenticeship but I was convinced to go on and complete it and so glad I did.
If you are in a position to do it there is no good reason not to.

I'm currently doing a degree in Building Services Engineering. HND is three years part time; 5 years for the degree. Def worth it. The amount if knowledge I have gained has been enormous but be warned that for the first two years there is a lot of maths (calculus, complex number, vectors etc) and engineering principles. Only in the third year do you begin to cover the stuff you want to learn in detail
