Home Buyers Report

Iv'e been asked quite a few times if I do home buyers reports. Just wondering how different they are from a periodic report? What tests do you carry out or is it just a visual? Any help would be greatful, cheers

i would say it's down to what they will pay. ideally a full PIR if they are prepared to pay the going rate. beats me that people are prepared to pay £250 for a suit with a damp meter for 15 minutes prodding walls, but have a fainting fit when asked for a similar amount for a PIR which could prevent fire, injury or death as opposed to a bit of mould in a cupboard.
