Hello!

First of all, sorry for my bad English! I don't know much about electricity, such I am at the third class of high school.

As you can see I want to make a Hidden Lights mechanism.
I want around 6-7 lights, which I can open and close with On-On type buttons.
Then, under every button, I want a led. Every led will be green for example when the mechanism is open and red when is closed. What type of Led I need? A two colored with 3 pins led?

What else I'll need?

How many resistors? One for every On-On Button? 400Ω-500Ω resistors are okay?
Then, I'll need an Inverter. Right? But how many inverters I'll need?

Many question, I know, but I want to be sure.

Thanks In Advance!

With respect.

this is obviousley a technology poject or something? is the leds battery opparated? is this for a toy? and do you require a chip board?
Technology project? Hmm, yes. I think that you can tell that is something like a technology project!

The leds, as you can see at the sketch, they are connected with the Power Supply.

Toy? Hmm, no. It is for decoration.

Chip Board? Yes, I'll need a box to move all these things inside it(switchers, resisters, leds e.t.c.)

you dont need to invent anything, just design a simple circuit and check a catalogue like RS to source your parts, power supply, check, green leds, check, red leds, check, push buttons, check, N/O, N/C switch contacts, you get the idea? why would you want an inverter?, why do you want to use resistors?
if on the other hand your trying to design this for a PCB, i stand corrected.
download MultiSim software (like AutoCad for electrical and electronic engineers), check your design on MultiSim (other brands are available but this one is good) and order your resistors etc.
hope this helps
