Is anyone watching this and if so, kindly explain to me what the score is with the man in Cyprus?

I have only just started watching it and im a little confused with the story.

Cheers!

Only half watched it. He and his misses had arranged to buy a house in Cyprus based on the overall plan. The plan showed that their plot would not be overlooked (I think they'd bought off plan and paid up front). When they went to visit the site, the plans had been changed and the garden was overlooked from all sides.

After a lot of hassle they were offered the refund (with interest as I understand it). They felt they were owed more; I guess because there was a bit of agro (the developer lumped him one and smashed his camera ... but was done separately for that as I understood).

The episode is being repeated again now on ITV (at least it is on Meridian).
I've just seen the ten minutes that I missed on the repeat. The man is a tool, he was offered the full ÂŁ100k back plus a little more but yet he continued to push the developer for more? This is a prime example of "time to take the money and run". He is only making his life and his wifes life a living hell all because his swimming pool is over looked.
