My first post so I hope I get this right!
i have just fitted a Honeywell Accenta mini gen4 with lcd remote keypad for my dad. All seemed to go fine until I tested the system. The initial power up was as the manual suggests and the LCD keypad read "system unset". I then entered P and the engineer's code 9999 and the keypad read 0>walk test, again as the manual said. However, on pressing 0 to activate the walk test the keypad started a continuous beeping although the readout was as the manual said. I performed the walk test and the numbers changed from 0 to 1 as they should but no noise as they activated other than the continuos beeping. This happened when I checked the strobe and siren - they work as they should but the beeping sounded as before. I decided to try to arm the system and again all that happened was a continual beeping sound which lasted for 2 to 3 minutes before I reset the system with the default code - the system wouldn't arm.
i have rechecked the wiring and even removed the 4 PIR wiring leaving only the exit contacts wired and still the same happens. I am at a real loss - any suggestions would be really great. Thanks

Sounds like you have a tamper fault, either the control panel, or bell box covers are loose. First job replace all factory links and test control panel fully. Then continue, one zone at a time.

9 times out of 10, back tamper on bell box not making with wall surface. check for 12V across + and T.
