Hi there,

In my apartment I have a Horstmann Economy 7 2 hour water heater system, in recent weeks it has stopped working overnight, when I wake up in the morning there is no hot water. I've checked / reset the clock to make sure its set correctly & it does seem to be turning / moving ahead as expected, however, it does not heat the water.

When I manually turn on the boost button it does work & I get hot water...

Photo attached of my control unit.

Not sure what my options are - appreciate any advice you can give me.

Thank you
S.

if you have 2 elements in the tank. 1 for night time and 1 for boost. the night element may have failed, or a connection burnt/failed. an electrician would be able to confirm in less that an hour.
