Hey there, I just moved into an apartment and we have a water heater control panel. It seems to heat the water during the night for a full seven hours. I do not need this much time at all, and frankly if I could just get it to come on for 2-3 hours from say 4 or 5 am that would be perfect. I know that night time energy costs less but a whole seven hours seems wasteful.
Is there any way to alter this? Here is a picture of the front: https://www.dropbox.com/s/45c31ptnw2btvcm/IMG_5463.JPG?dl=0
It's frustrating as in my previous house the timer could be fully changed and we had the water heating come on whenever we wanted and could add more/less time as we needed.
Even if it can't be changed, how much energy would something like this use in terms of kWh. I believe it's set to 70 degrees or something like that when it does come on.
Any help appreciated, very new to all this.
