At DIY level, I imagine the badge makes little difference, as they all originate from the same factory in China, the only real difference being the casing.I thought a branded name would be a better choice.

Has anyone any experience with these?
Keep being tempted, not exactly something that will break the bank but could end up paying for itself in a few hours on a breakdown.
Occasionally you find a warm object (36C) that keeps moving - Reflection of your bare arm , on some shiny surface -at just the right angle .i have an ethos one. had it 5 years. cost about ÂŁ20. works perfectly. main use is electrical ( hot cables/switches etc. and checking the freezers are @ -20.
