Further to my last post I finished the hot tub installation today.
In the end I hammered in 2 earth rods but still couldn't get below 200 ohms! So ..............
Re-assessed the install and decided that the hot tub was double insulated, there were no extraneous/exposed conductive parts in the hot tub vicinity and above all the TN-C-S Ze was 0.14 ohms.
Therefore I have gone with suppliers earth ............................ I'm sure this will raise alot of points from those who wouldn't and those who would have done the same!
I did leave the rods in and are connected to the MET at the 1 way dis board for the hot tub. Although useless at 256 ohms!!
