Currently in my apprenticeship, just (last week of september) gone into my third year and my pay is due to go up this payday. Worked a year before going to college so 4th year on the job.

I have my own works van, going to jobs etc thinking off my own back, and telling an apprentice what to do (usually 1st year's) as well....(they are supposed to be helping, but half of them have a very bad work attitude, so not much help!)

What would I realistically be looking to get per hour, i'm in scotland & my employee is JIB affiliated if that changes anything. (jokes aside for the scotland part haha)

Cheers
Jamie

So I should be on

(JIB) Apprentice Stage 3 £9.42 (travel provided, works van to and from home) at least

Sorry, edited my previous post, you were right. That page is a bit hard to follow! Your lucky as SJIB minimum for third year is £8.80ish but my boss stuck me on an even £9 as of August so not too bad.

I should be SJIB too, as I'm in Aberdeen :) so looks like I should be same as you for whatever the minimum is
