house rewire HELP!!

Hi i am new to the sparky game 1 thing has really bugged me since starting.

if i was to carry out a rewire on a house with people living in the house.
when i am rewiring it how are they going to have any power or lights throughout the procedure?

im problay being really dumb but it has bugged me for ages.

any other tips on rewiring houses would also be appreciated? thankyou.

If their living in the house then you must maintain lighting and power at the end of each day, except for any agreed areas eg spare room.

get as much of the installation done before stripping any of the existing. when you are ready to de-energise the old installation, temporarily fix a double RCD socket via a 20A MCB, couple of extension leads and plug in lamps.
