Hello there.
I recently had a pool with a screen enclosure installed at my home. I would.like to add a spot light to the outside of the enclosure overlooking my back yard. There is an outside spotlight that is still in use near the outside corner of my home that was used prior but is now in the pool area. I would like to use this as my source of electric for the spot light as it is already there. So...is it possible and more importantly safe to run electric through the aluminum channel of the enclosure? If so what is the recommended method? There are about three breaks im the run where I will need to hole saw through some of the aluminum channels to run wire or conduit through. I'm thinking romex would do the job but an quite unsure of the risk being inside the aluminum channel?. Any suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated.
