Hi, just wondered if anyone knew how deep you can channel into a wall? Does this come under electrical regs, or building regs?

Cheers for the info, probably only need to go about 30-35mm so should be fine in most walls.
Which in reality, would be hard to reach installing a few cables.
If you go by the regs saying that cable have to be 50mm or more deep if they are not RCD protected and a brick is approx 100mm deep that would be a bit more than 1/6 to 1/3 that Amp Dave said..
