How does one respond to this?

I was out on saturday night with a few mates,one of the guys brought along a mate of his who we had never met..
This guy knew none of us or what we did for work.
A conversation started up about the recession and lads being out of work, especially tradesmen,when this genius came out with this comment.........



"The people in my class in school who became electricians had barely a brain cell to rub together.
It isn't like they'll ever have to re-wire a space rocket or anything.
Most of them were creaming it for a few years, driving big cars and building big houses.
That helped bring me to the conclusion that the country was going to be screwed, when you see empty vessels like these making all the money"!

I shook my head and just called him a idiot and walked off,though I wish I had said more but I was so angry I felt like punching him so I thought it best to walk away.


What would you have done

Walk away from the ponce and tell your mate to leave him at home next time.

He probably comes out with pathetic statements like that cos he can't satisfy a woman!

What would you have done

I would have told him that the reason this country is screwed, is because millions of people lived beyond their means for ten years.He's just a jealous ***.
A lot of people are jealous of trades.
They think it is all so easy and yet they can't do it themselves.

Thats why they get to pay us. (and they hate it)

Funny enough i havent heard what trade or carrer he is in so can only guess he is employed by Bi;lly Smart as a clown in his circus. bet he will need a sparkie at some time in his life and then he will be the one with less than two brain cells. Just another fool who knows not what he says
