I was called in to a property to fix the bathroom light that wasn’t working (another electrician apparently walked in before me equipped only with a Wickes Tester and walked out, saying that it was so confusing and he couldn’t do it). When I went there I also realised that there was no earth bonding for gas & water. The guy also told me that the tube light in the kitchen wasn’t working. The board was re-wireable and the location is Mile End in London.

  1. Fixed the bathroom light.
  2. Sorted out the bonding for gas & water.
  3. Found out the starter was dodgy on the tube light – asked them to replace it (I didn’t have one on me)
Spent around two & a half hours in all. How much should I charge that bloke? I really don’t want to scare him off.

Thanks!

* My apologies, I chose Industrial instead of Domestic.
