hi folks wiring a conservatory comprising of 4 double sockets 1 external double socket, 6 downlights (customer supplying) and an external light customer also supplying. i am able to break into the ring circuit on other side of wall and already have rcd protection, how much wud u's charge for installation fitting an certifying, its just this is now my second year working for myself and i seem to be flat out sometimes but not making much and other times there is very little work at all :(

does not matter how easy or difficult it is......................lets say 2 days with a cert, i would charge 500 plus materials. its not a hobby u do for fun, look at it another way, the person u are doing it for.........................what sort of favours would they do for u?
business is business, either do it for a fair price, with cert and guarentee or let them go elsewhere? if they get a cheaper quote, get it in writing and then decide if u want to beat it?
times are hard, but dont work for nothing either..................we all have bills to pay! professional mechanics at a garage can charge up to £60 per hr!
