Got to install an new 2 way DB next to a existing DB, as need to install a new circuit and no spare ways available. But the Oil isn't bonded and the main earth needs upgrading. Once I have altered both of them how much testing do I have to carry out just a Ze and Pscc or do I have to test every circuit on the existing DB as all the characteristics will have changed?

you do as much or as little testing as your conscience allows. me, i'd test the whole installation.

Fair enough, not too fussed how much I have to test as I have been told company who authorized original works didn't survey the job so shall be invoiced accordingly.

As your not directly altering the original circuits then a minour works for your new install is fine

I am though as I am having to move one of the existing circuits into the new DB to make room for the new circuit.

Don't think a minor works would cover a new db and new circuit. I'd just test the circuit and db you have installed, ze and pscc would obviously have to be done, and the circuit ur movin over

ahh yer so you will need to test the circuits you move or play with. Test it all if your getting payed for it..
