How to be an electricians mate?

Hi there i'm new on this so not sure if this is the right section but anyway. Basically i have been working as an electricians mate for a small company in edinburgh for about 3 years but never gained any qualifications, now i have been laid off because there is no work.


Basically i want 2 know how i can get a cscs card as an electricians mate, what course would i have 2 do for me to get a card? not as an electrician just as a mate. if some1 could help me please i'm desperate lol.

Liam the JIB would be the people to provide site cards but will probably require some form of qualifications from you or some proof of experience within the industry. It maybe worth making an enquiry to them.
