How to carry out job in France and Germany

Hi there,

First time poster.

I am looking for some advice on where to turn to for a job that I have been asked to carry out in France and another in Germany. I’m based in London.

I have checked on my insurance and I’m covered to work there, but how do I/what’s the best way to sign off these works. I am installing metering equipment within a hotel. I’ll be installing cabling for the CT’s and comms cabling between meters and data module. All stuff we test internally, but our kit requires a 3phase supply from a dist board, which will require a certificate as it is a new additional circuit.

So, I think the question is, how do I sign these works off so it’s all above board and all parties are happy?

Appreciate any responses, and sorry for the jumbled message above, hopefully someone has come across this and can help me.

I don't think you can.

Following Brexit most eu countries no longer recognise uk qualifications , in addition some do not allow you to work in that country without a visa (the 90 days applies to visiting etc, although you can work in some countries under this rule, but not all).

You would need to check with the countries themselves if they would accept your qualifications and if you need a visa to work.
