How to change Frequency on a Fronius IGTL 4.0

Hi I've been given approval in principal to install a 3.99kWp system providing that the upper frequency limit of the protection relay is set to 51.5Hz has anyone got any ideas how to do this ?

I have a Fronius IG-TL 3.6. The first port of call for you is Tech support at 01908 512316 they are very helpfull and very knowledgeble. I have used them for other issues. They even phone back which is amazing.

I rang tech support today and they say the fronius IGTL4.0 has an upper limit of 50.48Hz already so nothing needs doing.

Not nescessarily so!

The reason for RAISING the limit is so that the system is more tolerant, i.e. is less likely to trip out.

The bigger the system the more tolerance the DNO wants so as generators are not switching on and off, that's why G59 is more lenient (not tighter) than G83.

Imaging a group of 25 x 4 kWp systems in one localilty swithing on and off, - that's the reason for greater tolerance..
