Hi guys,

Nowadays, counterfeit electrical products are more available than the original.
Fly-by-nights manufacturers are increasing day by day, they could copy almost all electrical materials from bulbs, cb's, electrical devices etc.
Aside from the cheaper price how would we distinguish the fakes from the originals for the following items?

1. Energy saver lamps ( Philips and Osrams)
2. Electrical Devices ( MK. Legrand, Crabtree)
3. CB's ( Square-D, MEM, Telemechanique)

Please kindly gshare your experiences so we could know and probably avoid buying and using such counterfeit products.

regards to all of you...

wasnt there something on tv about fake mcb's,im sure its been discussed on here before, they dont trip, they burst into flames..

Stick 'em in the garden, if they sprout they're genuine bulbs, if not they're lamps

I would check their websites. Most big brand name producers have advice on spotting fake imitations which they update regularly as new ones hit the marketplace.
