Greetings,

How should I identify a SELV transformer as being compliant (with section 414 of the bgb) when it's not printed on the transformer or in its literature? Sales people promise the earth but are unable to provide any solid evidence.

Is there a web site holding relevant information?

My issues are with ET60T-3 and EL ET60 transformers. The former has one EN number in its instructions, namely: EN55015. The later has three EN numbers printed on the device: 61046 (safety); 61547 (EMC Immunity) and 55015 (RFI).

Any help will be hugely appreciated.

Check the CE marking certificate this MUST bear the design & build standards to comply with the CE marking directive (basically it is statute law that this is so).
If it is not the case then the device is not suitable for sale in the EU market.

Oh, BTW that is a FULL STOP above, IYKWIM.
