Hi, Guys
is somebody know how to reset ETN GEB2080fg MCCB, which is stuck in middle of position and can't on or off. the product is out of UK. many thanks for your help.

I did find the technical manual for the device but couldn't find any information about it's operation (admittedly I only skimmed it).

Some devices need to have the actuator moved to the off position before they can be turned back on, but if you can't do that then I'd say there is a good chance it has failed mechanically and should be replaced by a suitably qualified person.

Look carefully for a very small screwhole, insert small screwdriver and turn in or out. This will release the switch. That is my theory. As some MCCB have an adjustor for setting the trip sensitivity. I think this may be the case, obviously not sure as I am not there.

Hi, Vortigern
Many thanks for your theory. It worked for me as well. one small screwdriver inserted one hole and turned out, then the switch worked as normal. Thanks again, other wise it cost ÂŁ1040 to replace and waiting for two month shipping from states.

regards

Wei
